The Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s team will take on Spain in the Cup semi-final tomorrow at 7:55am at the Vancouver 7s.
Fiji opened their campaign with a thrilling victory over France in their first pool match.
The game was a nail-biter, with the lead changing several times before Fiji narrowly edged out France.
In their second pool match, Fiji faced defending Vancouver champions Argentina where they went down 17–14 to the Pumas in a closely contested encounter.
Fiji then met Australia in their final pool match, with a semi-final spot on the line.
The Fijians delivered an outstanding performance, defeating Australia 35–14 to secure their place in the Cup semi-final.
South Africa will face Australia in the first Cup semi-final at 7.33am tomorrow.
The Cup final will be played at 1.34pm tomorrow.
