Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Head Coach, Osea Kolinisau says the selection door is also open for the British Army Fijian 7s players for the national team.

Kolinisau made this clear after saying that they had a high-intensity scrimmage session earlier this week with the British Army 7s team.

Looking ahead to the McDonald's Coral Coast Sevens, Kolinisau confirms a young squad has been selected, with a focus on giving emerging players valuable experience at a serious level of competition.

With teams such as the USA, British Army, New Zealand, and Australia confirmed for the tournament, Kolinisau says the Coral Coast Sevens is a great chance for young players to test themselves against top sides.

Despite the youthful lineup, Kolinisau says the team’s goal is always to win the tournament, and he is eager to see if the boys have learned from their mistakes in the last two legs, and how much they have improved ahead of the next series leg in Singapore and Perth.

The Coral Coast Sevens will be held from tomorrow to Saturday at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

The Singapore 7s will be held from 31st January to 1st February while the Perth 7s will be held on the 7th and 8th of February.
