With the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side entering the HSBC SVNS Singapore 7s as defending champions, captain Jerry Matana is confident they can deliver again this weekend.

Speaking from Singapore in the iTaukei language, Matana says there are no injuries or illnesses in the squad, and the players are eager to showcase Fijian rugby on the world stage.

He is urging Fijians to continue supporting the team, saying they will give their best to bring back glory to Fiji.

Fiji has been drawn into a tough pool and will take on Great Britain at 4.32pm tomorrow, followed by Spain at 7.58pm, and South Africa at 11.46pm.

The Men’s Cup semi-finals kick off at 6.52pm Sunday, with the final scheduled for 11.41pm.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s team will open their campaign against Australia at 3.26pm tomorrow, followed by the USA at 6.30pm. They will face Japan at 9.56pm in their final pool match.

The Women’s Cup semi-finals will start at 5.08pm Sunday, with the final at 11.05pm.
