Manchester United come into the game after a much-needed win against Crystal Palace, their first victory in London in months.
December has been a tough month for United in recent years, as they have lost nine of their past 14 league games played in December, including the final three matches of 2024 without scoring.
West Ham, meanwhile, have reasons to be confident, having beaten Manchester United in four of the last five Premier League meetings, including a 2–0 win at Old Trafford last season, their first league victory there in 16 attempts.
Both sides need points, and a tight, competitive match is expected.
