95-year-old Melaia Radirewa Vasu was among the congregation at the Methodist Church at Centenary in Suva for the Christmas church service.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Vasu says that one month before Christmas, she dreamt of seeing a lady dressed in white who appeared to be setting up her house with Christmas decorations.

She says that following the dream, she decided to wear all white to church today.

Vasu says her shoes were sent all the way from the United States by one of her daughters specifically for her to wear on Christmas Day.

The 95-year-old also says that Christmas is a day for reflecting on one’s journey throughout the year.
