The contractors at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital are working to rectify issues caused by the heavy downpour, which has resulted in delays to some healthcare services today.
Minister for Health, Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu is urging the public to remain patient as teams work to resolve the issues at the affected facilities.

Lalabalavu says the Ministry is in the final stages of compiling a report on the matter and will release an official statement soon.
Healthcare services have been affected due to water overflowing into the ceiling following the heavy rain yesterday.
The affected areas and services include the Special Outpatients Department (SOPD) Dressing Room, Blood Testing Services (Phlebotomy Room), Echo Services at the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, the Operating Theatre and Support Areas, and the Medical Bay Waiting Area.
