Cloud 9 in the Mamanucas ranked as the #2 boat-only dining destination in the world

A great achievement for Fiji as Cloud 9 in the Mamanuca Islands has officially been ranked as the #2 boat-only dining destination in the world.

As travellers begin planning their 2026 maritime adventures, BoatBooker has released its curated list of the 10 Unique Boat-Only Dining Destinations Worldwide.

BoatBooker says Cloud 9 earns its high position for its middle-of-the-ocean setting and for reflecting Fiji’s vibrant, nautical spirit at its finest.

Located in the turquoise waters of Vanua Malolo on Ro Ro Reef, Cloud 9 is celebrated as a "floating paradise" that offers a perspective of the Pacific simply unreachable from the mainland.

The notable insights that secured its rank include the Pop-Culture Connection where the Mamanuca Islands have recently captured global attention as the lush filming location for Love Island USA, the 360-Degree Horizon as reviewers frequently highlight the "unreal" experience of having no land in sight while enjoying a gourmet wood-fired pizza and a fully stocked bar in the middle of a vibrant reef, and a Living Reef Experience where guests often note the seamless blend of a high-end lounge and raw adventure; the ability to jump directly from the dining deck into a coral garden between courses is a "performance" unique to this platform.

BoatBooker says while the list celebrates the "art" of the journey, each selection met strict conditions: the restaurant must be reachable only by boat (no roads or runways), maintain a high review rating on Google Maps, and have at least 100 verified reviews.

They specifically searched for authentic settings and unique dining experiences that could not be found anywhere else.
