Chelsea chances of reaching the Champions League knockout stage took a hit after a 2-1 loss to Atalanta in UEFA Champions League.
João Pedro gave Chelsea the lead in the 25th minute after a good cross from Reece James with Chelsea ahead by 1-0 at halftime.
Atalanta came back strong with Gianluca Scamacca scoring in the 55th minute to make it 1-1 with another score in 83rd minute by Charles De Ketelaere.
Meanwhile, Chelsea falls to 11th place, outside the top 8 spots needed to qualify automatically with Atalanta moving up to third spot.
Chelsea will now face Pafos at home on 21st January.
