CFL to host people today for World Radio Day celebrations

As we celebrate World Radio Day today, Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of LegendFM, FM96, VitiFM, Navtarang, Radio Sargam and fijivillage, has organised some fun activities at our 231 Waimanu Road home.

Listeners and followers of our five radio stations and our news website, fijivillage, will get a chance to tour the home of CFL and meet the radio personalities from 9am to 1pm.

The event will begin with lively music and a warm welcome for listeners and guests.

A cake-cutting ceremony will also take place.

The theme for this year's celebration is “AI is a tool, not a voice”.

CFL’s first radio station, FM96, started on July 5th, 1985.

It was the first-ever 24-hour radio station in the country.

World Radio Day is a reminder of the importance of radio as a tool for promoting inclusive communication and social cohesion.

We hope to see you all here at CFL during the celebrations.
