Bula FC has received a boost ahead of their first OFC Pro League match as Extra Supermarket has come onboard as the naming right and major sponsor of the club.

The club says Extra Supermarket has been a consistent supporter of the game across the country for years, backing tournaments and competitions at various levels.

They say this partnership now sees the brand extend that commitment into professional football, supporting Bula FC as the club embarks on its journey in the OFC Professional League.

Bula FC says Extra Supermarket is a strong advocate for healthy living, encouraging families to make better food choices and supporting wellbeing within communities.

They say this makes the partnership a natural fit, as Bula FC continues to promote fitness, discipline, and positive lifestyle values through sport.

Fiji FA President and Executive Board Member Rajesh Patel says Extra Supermarket has always been behind football in Fiji, supporting tournaments right across the country.

He says to now see them involved at the professional level with Bula FC is very encouraging and shows a real belief in the direction the game is heading.

Bula FC says with this expanded partnership, Extra’s total commitment to Fiji football, across all divisions from futsal to domestic competitions, now reaches $1 million, marking a significant evolution from grassroots and youth development to the professional stage.

Extra’s Chief Marketing Officer Lailanie Burnes says for Extra Supermarket, this partnership goes far beyond branding.

She says it is about nation building through sport, inspiring our youth, uniting communities and proudly positioning Fiji on the international football stage.

The club says they look forward to working closely with Extra Supermarket to grow the game, engage communities, and build something special together.

Bula FC will face Vanuatu United FC in the first match of the inaugural OFC Pro League at 2pm this Saturday at Eden Park.
