Extra Bula FC is gearing up for an intense period, with four matches scheduled in less than 10 days.

Concerns about the squad’s physical and mental fitness have been addressed by coach Stephane Auvray, who describes it as a challenge rather than an issue.

Auvray says it’s part of the season and they have to face it.

The coach says he is thankful that they have 20 field players and that they have to prepare as best as they can.

When questioned about whether player rotation will continue, Auvray says they have never had the same starting lineup.

He adds that the club is now focused on managing the workload while ensuring all players get opportunities to develop and contribute on the field.

Bula FC will face Vanuatu United FC at 1pm this Sunday.

The team will then face Hekari United next Wednesday at 8pm, followed by Solomon FC next Saturday at 7.30pm.

They will round off the circuit with their Round 1 postponed match against South Island United FC on 8th March at 8pm.

Meanwhile, the team sit in fifth place with five points after Round 2 of the tournament. They need to finish in the top four to qualify directly for the semi-finals.

Auckland FC lead with 15 points, South Melbourne FC are second with 11 points, and Solomon Kings FC are third with eight points.
