Extra Bula FC head into their OFC Pro League clash against South Melbourne FC this evening determined to show growth and composure.
Head coach Stephane Auvray says the team has focused on recovery, and that early substitutions in their last match ensured several players stayed fresh for today’s clash.
He adds that they are working on finding the best formation to manage fitness, fatigue, and performance.
Beyond tactics and conditioning, Auvray stressed that emotional management will be the defining factor, particularly after lessons learned in their last outing.
He adds that they also need to focus on better decision-making and improved ball retention.
Bula FC will aim to put those lessons into practice against South Melbourne FC when they take the field at 5.30pm in Papua New Guinea.
