Fiji's Winston Hill put up a determined fight on the Gold Coast last night but was stopped in the sixth round by Benny Mahoney, who retained his IBF Pan Pacific Super Welterweight title via technical knock out.

Mahoney showcased composure, precision and superior ring control throughout the bout, gradually breaking down Hill with sustained pressure and clean combinations.

The win sees Mahoney extend his unbeaten professional record to 16–0, further solidifying his status as one of the rising forces in the region’s super welterweight division.
