Former Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama
Former Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama says he is not behind the formation of a political party as he cannot stand for the 2026 general elections because of his court case.

When asked about the former FijiFirst MPs crossing the floor and supporting the government, Bainimarama did not mince his words.

The Group of 16 Bloc is being led by the Leader of the Opposition, Inia Seruiratu, and their Whip is Jone Usamate, while Ketan Lal is the Deputy Whip.

The other Group of 9 Bloc is being led by Ioane Naivalurua, their Whip is Viliame Naupoto, and their Deputy Whip is Alipate Tuicolo.
