Bail denied for Zoe Moore

The Suva Magistrates Court has denied bail to Zoe Maharaj Moore over charges relating to possession of a grenade and methamphetamine.

She faces one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs, one count of possession of property believed to be proceeds of crime, one count of possession of break-in implements, and one count of unlawful possession of explosives.

Moore was allegedly found with a grenade and 0.111 grams of methamphetamine on February 13th in Delainavesi, Lami.

For the proceeds of crime charge, Moore was allegedly found with $345 cash, two CCTV cameras, a speaker and an electronic scale.

In relation to the possession of break-in implements charge, she was also allegedly found with a pinch bar on the same day in Delainavesi, Lami.

Moore was previously charged with similar drug-related offences.

The case has been adjourned to April 7th.
