Arsenal’s title ambitions will be firmly tested when the Premier League leaders host defending champions Liverpool in a high-stakes clash at the Emirates Stadium this morning.
The Gunners have been in impressive form this season, losing only once in their first 21 matches as they aim to secure their first league title since 2003.
In contrast, Liverpool have struggled to maintain last season’s winning momentum.
Despite a strong start, their form has dipped significantly, with defensive weaknesses playing a key role in their decline.
They have already conceded 28 goals in 20 matches, compared to just 41 across the entirety of last season.
Their last encounter at the Emirates ended in a 2-2 draw, while Arsenal’s last win over Liverpool came three seasons ago.
Today’s fixture is the 246th meeting between the two clubs, with Liverpool having the edge historically.
Arsenal will face Liverpool at 8am.
