Apisalome Tamani has been appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Fiji Bureau of Statistics, effective Wednesday.
Tamani, who currently serves as Deputy Government Statistician (Technical), has assumed the role and will serve in this capacity until the position is substantively filled.
The position was previously held by Kemueli Naiqama, and the Fiji Bureau of Statistics has acknowledged his leadership and service during his tenure.
The Bureau has also extended its best wishes to Naiqama on his new appointment as the Ambassador of the Republic of Fiji to Japan.
