The youths of Nawaka village have been given four acres of land to start agricultural projects in partnership with the Western Division Community Policing Team.

Western Divisional Manager for Community Policing, SP Petero Tuinirarama and Nawaka resident and Sukuna Bowl winning Police Team Coach Sergeant Savenaca Aria have come up with a way to assist the youths.

Sergeant Aria says the youths approached him with their idea and he offered them four acres of land following discussions with the Divisional Manager for Community Policing.

He says this will help give unemployed youths a source of income.

Aria says they will assist the youths with the registration with respective Ministries, the opening of bank accounts and will find markets for their produce.
