Youths of Cunningham Stage 4 are spending their Christmas public holiday raising money and collecting donations to help parents in their community that are struggling to get their children back to school next week.

They have organised a Haircut Drive at the Racule Drive Grounds at Cunningham Stage 4 where in exchange for cash donations or school stationery, you get a haircut.

The initiative is being spearheaded by Enele Ma'afu of Scar Fades who says they have identified 19 students that need assistance.

He says they all struggled growing up and always wished there was support in the community that was available.

Ma'afu says they want to give that support to these students.

If you want to help, you can reach out to Enele Ma'afu on the Scar Fades Facebook page or you can get a haircut and make a donation at the Racule Drive Grounds at Cunningham Stage 4.

The Haircut Drive will finish at 4pm today.
