Prasad who scored 368 out of 400 in her Year 13 exam was awarded the Dux Award yesterday.

The Year 13 student who is the youngest of six siblings says she wished that her dad was alive to see her fulfill her dreams.

She further says when her father passed away, it was a hard time for the family financially but now her sisters are supporting the family.

She adds whilst doing online classes during the COVID closure she had encountered network issues which was an issue and she has thanked the government for opening the school to allow them to study in a better environment.

While speaking at the ceremony, Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has encouraged the students to choose a profession that they are passionate about.
