Yat Sen U19 team beats Gospel in Secondary Schools Basketball Championship

The Yat Sen Secondary School U19 side has beaten Gospel High School 24-13 in a Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball Championship round-robin match.

In other U19 matches, Marist Brothers High School 1 beat Ratu Kadavulevu School 21-9, Marist 2 beat Gospel 14-3, LDS High School beat Marist 1 16-7, LDS drew 8-all against Marist 2 while Gospel beat RKS 14-4.

In the U19 girls' competition, Adi Cakobau School beat Yat Sen 24-7, Yat Sen beat LDS 13-4, Saint Joseph’s Secondary School beat Yat Sen 12-8, SJSS beat LDS 6-2 while ACS beat SJSS 6-3.

In the U17 boys' competition, RKS 1 won by default against Dudley High School, Yat Sen beat Marist 18-10, RKS2 won by default against Dudley, LDS beat Marist 9-5, Yat Sen beat RKS1 22-12 while Marist 1 beat RKS2 10-7.

In the U17 girl's division, LDS beat Dudley 16-10, Dudley won by default against Gospel, SJSS beat Dudley 14-4, Yat Sen thrashed LDS 20-3, SJSS1 thrashed LDS 14-0 while Yat Sen thrashed SJSS2 33-3.

In the boy's division of the U15 grade, LDS edged MBHS 13-12, Yat Sen 1 beat Dudley 12-6, LDS beat Marist 2 8-6while in the girl's division, Yat Sen thrashed SJSS 14-4, LDS beat SJSS 12-6 while SJSS demolished Dudley 19-0.

International Secondary School and Suva Grammar School were on by this week.
