Yaadein Vision Fiji is assisting 1,200 students with stationery, school bags and uniforms in 42 schools in the North.

They are working with the Education Ministry with an aim to get students back to school next Tuesday by assisting them with the necessities.

Yaadein Vision donated $77,500 to the Ministry yesterday.

National President, Rajesh Chand says when they were distributing relief items in the interior parts of the Northern Division they discovered that students needed assistance to be back in school.

They were distributing relief items such as food packs, utensils, food vouchers, blankets and solar lights.

Chand says they then planned to assist these students together with the help of United Fiji Community Australia.

The Ministry is working with the Fiji Teachers Union, Fiji Muslim League, Sathya Sai Service Organisation of Fiji, Yaadein Vision, SODELPA, Forklift Fiji and TISI Sangam to provide students with school bags and stationery to affected students.
