The Valelevu, Nausori, Vunidawa and Korovou health centres full range of radiology services are down and not working at the moment and patients are now advised to visit the CWM Hospital in Suva for their examinations.

The Ministry of Health says the technical teams are working to fix the radiology machine and will inform the public once the machines are restored.

fijivillage News has raised this issue with the Ministry of Health as we received information that a woman was given a run around on Monday when she went for an xray for a suspected sprained ankle.

She caught a taxi to the Nausori Health Centre only to be told that the machine was down and she can access the service at Wainibokasi Hospital. When she went there, there was no xray service available.

The woman who was in severe pain had spent a considerable amount of money paying for the taxi fare and returned home with no xray done.
