The Reds have come crashing back to Earth in a 33-23 Super Rugby loss to the Sharks last night and this has prompted captain Liam Wright to apologise to their faithful supporters at Suncorp Stadium .

Wright told Fox Sports after their loss, that they played some very un-Queensland footy as they were outclassed in their set-pieces which is traditionally one of their strengths.

He says when their set-pieces were not working, they could not do anything else to improve their game.

He adds that they are sorry for their performance and they will try to do better in their next match.

However, the Reds will now have a daunting challenge as they will face three time defending champion Crusaders in Christchurch on Friday.

Looking at the Round 5 results, the Rebels defeated the Highlanders 28-22, the Waratahs defeated the Lions 29-17, the Hurricanes thrashed the Sunwolves 62-15, the Sharks defeated the Red 33-23, the Blues defeated the Stormers 33-14 and the Jaguares beat the Bulls 39-24.
