The University of the South Pacific Laucala Campus is witnessing a remarkable milestone as women make up 61.12 percent of the 1,147 students graduating over two days graduation which is held at the Vodafone Arena.

Yesterday’s session with 701 female graduates has highlighted the growing strength and achievement of women in academia.

The ceremonies yesterday included students from the School of Agriculture, Geography, Environment, Ocean and Natural Sciences (SAGEONS), the School of Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Physics (STEMP), and the School of Business & Management (SBM) in the morning.

The afternoon session featured graduates from the Pacific Technical and Further Education.

While today, session 3 will have the graduates from the School of Accounting, Finance and Economics (SAFE), the School of Law and Social Sciences (SoLaSS), and the School of Pacific Arts, Communication and Education (SPACE).

As the final session takes place today, this year’s graduation continues to celebrate the resilience and determination of the majority of the female graduates who are shaping a new path of success for future generations.
