Woman charged with unlawful possession of illicit drugs in Mead Road Housing raid

The 31-year-old woman arrested for an alleged case of unlawful possession of illicit drugs during a raid at the Mead Road housing complex has been charged and is will appear before the Suva Magistrates Court today.

Police say the accused has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

They say the raid was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to crack down on drug-related activities.

Police have reiterated their commitment to addressing drug-related offenses and are urging the public to report any suspicious activities in their communities.
