Wests Tigers edge the Bulldogs 29-28

The Wests Tigers defeated the Bulldogs 29-28 in the NRL last night.

Fiji Bati wing Marcelo Montoya scored a try for the Bulldogs.

Luke Garner scored twice for the Tigers while Moses Mbye, David Nofoaluma and Joseph Leilua each scored a try.

The Wests Tigers led the Bulldogs 22-16 at the break.

The Bulldogs scored five tries from Nick Meaney, Marcelo Montoya, Matt Doorey, Aiden Tolman and Kerrod Holland.

The Penrith Panthers currently lead the NRL points table with 25 points, Melbourne Storm is in second place with 24 points, the Paramatta Eels are in third place with 22 points while defending champions the Roosters are in fourth place with 18 points.

This week in the NRL, the Eels will take on the Storm at 9.50 pm Thursday, the Panthers will face the Sharks at 8 pm Friday while the Broncos will play the Dragons at 9.55 pm Friday.
