West Ham and Brighton remained scoreless after their English Premier League match this morning.
Brighton had the bulk of possession and better chances in their first match of the New Year but they were unable to break through the West Ham defence which has now kept four consecutive clean sheets.
A point moves Brighton into seventh place, above Manchester United, while West Ham are three points further ahead in sixth.
Meanwhile, Liverpool is leading the EPL table with 45 points followed by Aston Villa with 42 points while Manchester City is in third place with 40 points, Arsenal with 40th points in the fourth place and Tottenham with 39 points in the fifth place.
