After nine years, St Vincent College has qualified for the Weet-Bix Raluve national quarter-finals, with their Under-16 team set to compete this Saturday.
School Principal Asilika Nacola Tabua says this achievement reflects the girls’ perseverance and determination.
Tabua says despite not having access to gym equipment, the players have remained focused and committed to achieving better results in recent games.
She also highlighted that the players are constantly reminded to always give their best in every match and to uphold good sportsmanship.
The U16 grade will see St Vincent College, ACS, St Theresa Catholic School, Sigatoka Methodist, Lomaivuna High School and Ratu Latianara College.
