As the host of the 2023 Vodafone Sukuna Bowl, we will be taking the Tanoa back to Nasova when we face the Army Rugby team on the 1st of December.

These were the challenging words from the Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew at the MOU signing with Vodafone as the official sponsor of the Ratu Sukuna Bowl this year.

Chew says it will be an exciting match for them as they aim to win the title this year and it will be an event that is not to be missed.

In reply, Navy Commander Humphrey Tawake says time will decide who will take the 2023 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl.

Commander Tawake says they will defend the title with their best ability and give the Police team a good game.

Ratu Sukuna Bowl Organising Committee, Acting SSP Pauliasi Colamoto says the Ratu Sukuna Bowl will start with the Netball and Volleyball competition on the 27th of November and will be held in Suva and Nadi while the football competition will be held at the Fiji Football grounds in Vatuwaqa on the 28th and the 29th of next month.

ASP Colamoto says the theme for this year's competition is aimed at the future of the forces which is Family Unity for National Unity.

He says they will not be able to include women's rugby this year but will introduce the game of touch rugby in the competition after many of their female officers are serving in peacekeeping duties.

Newly appointed Vodafone CEO, Elenoa Biukoto says Vodafone will always be committed to supporting our local communities.

Biukoto says their partnership with the Ratu Sukuna Bowl exemplifies their dedication to nurturing and promoting excellence in sports. The 2023 Ratu Sukuna Bowl will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi from the 27th of November until the 1st of December.
