Chinese Ambassador to Fiji Zhou Jian says they do not have full details on the completion certificate of the Navua Hospital as it was a long time ago however, they will get full details and look at ways to fix the problems.
While responding to a question on the completion certificate of the Navua Hospital, Ambassador Jian says China has always been at the forefront to provide help and support in terms of development and infrastructure and will continue to do so.
During the briefing and gathering with the media, government officials, and the universities, the ambassador also says there will be another new group of experienced doctors coming to Fiji.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad earlier highlighted that Navua Hospital is a major disaster in terms of the construction and were told that it did not have a completion certificate.
Professor Prasad also says there are major electrical faults at the hospital and it was not done according to standard.
