Permanent Secretary for Health Dr James Fong.

The Permanent Secretary for Health Dr James Fong has confirmed that they have 30,000 food packs with them at the moment but they have the ability to arrange for more.

People who are living within the Suva-Nausori corridor can call 161 if they run out of food during the curfew period which will be free.

Dr Fong says there is an arrangement with Punjas and they will have to sort out the passes for the workers to have the production going.

He says there will be movement of freight and food so the packs can be positioned in Suva.

The Permanent Secretary says they will be taking some packs to the Western Division but majority of it will be in Suva because of the curfew.
