Queensland Reds Development Officer, Rupeni Seru

Queensland Reds Development Officer, Rupeni Seru is back in the country to help give back to his people and the program that helped him out when he started.

Seru is a recipient of the Island Breeze Rugby Plus program from its earlier years.

He is happy that this time around he will be going with the team to his village of Vatukalo, Ovalau, this week.

This is one of the two stops for the Rugby Plus team after a lapse of 2 years with the second location in Tacilevu, Savusavu, next week.

Seru added they do not just talk about rugby in their camps but also what they can do after.

He also says they help the participants out as most of them rely on farming as their main source of income.
