Queensland Reds halfback Tate McDermott says they are hoping to paint the town red this weekend.

McDermott made these comments ahead of their round 13 clash with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

The Reds who are currently fifth on the standings have won 6 out of 11 games this season while the Drua who are in 8th place have only won 4.

The Drua will be hoping that their 16th man comes out to support them and sell out the HFC Bank Stadium again in a must win match if they want to make the playoffs.

The Drua take on the Reds at 2.05pm Saturday.

In other games, the Hurricanes meet Moana Pasifika at 7.05pm Friday, the Rebels host the Chiefs at 9.35pm Friday, the Brumbies play the Crusaders at 4.35pm Saturday, the Blues meet the Highlanders at 7.05pm Saturday while the Force host the Waratahs at 9.35pm Saturday.
