Our commitment to creating affordable housing, sustainable development and community empowerment remains steadfast.

These were the words of Minister for Housing & Local Government Maciu Nalumisa, while opening 20 new Model Town Houses in Koroipita, Lautoka.

Nalumisa says Koroipita Model Town provides housing and services to under-privileged people that enhance socio-economic stability.

The Minister says the government is dedicated to creating inclusive communities where citizens can flourish and lead fulfilling lives.

He says the homes are designed not only to meet the basic needs of shelter but to provide an environment where families can truly thrive.

He further says that each house stands as a testament to the commitment to quality and safe living.

Nalumisa says they will continue to embrace innovation that will lead everyone to a brighter future.

He adds these beautiful homes are access to safe and dignified living spaces of the people.

He further says the 20 Model Town Houses stand as exemplars of sustainable architecture and urban planning and incorporating eco-friendly features.

Minister also acknowledges New Zealand for their continuous support to safeguard the livelihoods of our people through this project.
