Minister for Education Rosy Akbar says Fiji is one of the countries that is COVID contained but we are still not out of the danger yet.

While opening the Digicel Fiji Muslim Sports Association tournament, Akbar urged the people present to register to be vaccinated.

Akbar further says we all can hope and pray that our borders open up soon and life becomes normal as it used to be.

She told the people present that we do not know when borders will open, we don’t know when the economy is going to bounce back but what we know is that each one of us can make sure that we make a difference in not only our lives but our economy as well.

Akbar also urged the participating teams to show good sportsmanship.
