Water supply restored in some areas after valve installation work in Nasinu

Remaining areas to receive water by this evening

Some areas affected by the Nasinu Area Bulk Line Rectification Works have started receiving water supply, while the remaining areas are expected to have water restored by this evening.

The Water Authority of Fiji confirms that the installation of the DN600 line valve has been successfully completed and the affected areas including Caubati, parts of Kinoya and Newton, where water supply has been restored.

They add that the water supply in the remaining affected areas, including Vatuwaqa, Raiwasa, Raiwaqa, Raiwai, Lower Cunningham, Fletcher Road, Grantham Road, Laucala Bay Area, Vesi Street, Domain, Queen Elizabeth Drive and Suva CBD, is expected to be fully restored by this evening.

WAF expresses their appreciation for the public's patience during the process and assures that they are working to minimize disruptions.
