Water supply has normalised at the CWM Hospital Emergency East Wing Building after surgeries, dialysis and laboratory tests were affected from Tuesday due to water pressure issues.

Water Authority of Fiji and the Minister for Works, Ro Filipe Tuisawau are yet to comment on what is being done to assess why the East Wing building faced low pressure issues, and what will be done to find a solution.

CWM Hospital Medical Superintendent, Doctor Luke Nasedra says they use about 20,000 litres of water in half a day, and need to have consistent supply in order to run their machines for surgeries, dialysis and lab tests.

Further low pressure issues can affect these services again.
