The Water Authority of Fiji says water supply should be normalising to thousands of residents in Cunningham, Laucala Beach, Naranji Street in Wailoku, Savura, Tacirua, Kinoya, Nasese and upper Makoi after urgent repair works at the Savura and Waimanu Raw Water Pumping Station.

There was a burst main at the pumping station following the Viti Levu-wide power outage last night.

WAF says their technical team worked late into the night and managed to complete all urgent repairs to the burst main.

Repairs were completed at 2.30 this morning and the pumps were switched back on at 3am.

WAF says if water supply has not been normalised in your area yet, you can call 5777 to ask for a water carting truck to come to your area.
