Minister for Infrastructure Jone Usamate says water has been restored to all metered areas in Fiji and the emphasis now is on rural areas where villages have their own water schemes.
He says teams are moving around with immediate solutions like water carting.
He says the FRA has been able to make the roads accessible but the flooding this week has led to some crossings being washed away again.
According to initial assessments by the FRA, they have sustained $20 million worth of damages due to TC Yasa.
Usamate says this is expected to climb further.
