With the international borders reopening on 1st December, Warwick Fiji Resort and Spa in the Coral Coast has received about 300 bookings so far from Australia for December to April.

This has been confirmed by the Senior Vice President of Warwick Hotels and Resorts, Tammie Tam who says they are expecting the numbers to increase in the next few days.

She says she is hoping there will not be any subsequent changes for them to close again and they can continue with their operations since over 80% target population are fully vaccinated.

The resort had been closed since April this year due to the second wave of COVID-19 and re-opened for Fiji Day.

She confirms that all their staff are fully vaccinated and they have amazing deals to offer.

Tam says at the moment they are opening on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only and can open on weekdays on special requests such as arrangements for conferences.

She adds they have about 200 full-time staff and 200 temporary staff of which most of them were laid off.

She says at the moment they have about 30 workers on reduced hours, and depending on the occupancy, they will bring more staff.
