Minister for Health Doctor Ifereimi Waqainabete has commended members of the Fiji Institute Medical Laboratory Science for their role in Fiji's health sector and most importantly in Fiji's battle against the COVID-19 global pandemic.

While speaking during the Fiji Institute Medical Laboratory Science seminar, Dr. Waqainabete says during COVID-19, they were the engine room behind the scenes; day in and day out, in isolation under the threat of the virus and away from your loved ones.

Dr. Waqainabete adds their efforts and Government's decisive leadership has enabled Fiji to keep the pandemic under control.
