Wallabies coach Dave Rennie has accepted the fact that star winger Marika Koroibete will leave to join Japanese Club Panasonic Wild Knights next year.

Koroibete was offered a four-year deal worth AUD$3 million by the Wild Knights last year but failed to gain an early release.

However he is still expected to leave at the end of this year on a AUD$1 million per season deal after a blistering start to 2021.

According to reports a source close to Rugby Australia has confirmed that Koroibete is all but gone.

Wallabies coach Dave Rennie says they would love to keep Koroibete but it will be a challenge because players are now getting paid less due to COVID-19.

Meanwhile the Brumbies will take on Western Force in the Super Rugby Australia at 8.45 tonight while the Reds take on the Waratahs at 8.45pm tomorrow.

In the Super Rugby Aotearoa, the Highlanders take on the Hurricanes at 6.05 tonight while the Blues play the Chiefs at 6.05pm tomorrow.
