Wairiki 7s winner will be walking away with $12,000

The team that wins the Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s for the men will walk away with $12,000 while the runner-up will get $6,000.

Wairiki 7s tournament Director Organiser, Iowane Gade says teams like Police Blue, Police White and Army have confirmed their participation in this tournament.

Gade says the total prize pool for the Wairiki 7s is $32,000.

He says for U21 the winner will be awarded $12,000 while the runner-up is $2,000, for the women's division winner will take $2,000 and the runner-up gets $1,000.

The tournament Director says $1,500 will be awarded to the winner in the open soccer grade and $750 to the runner-up.

The Wairiki 7s will be held from the 17th to the 20th of this month at Wairiki ground in Taveuni.
