Wairiki 7s: Wardens Gold to face Police White in quarter final

Defending Wairiki 7s champion Wardens Gold are through to the 16th Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s Men’s quarter finals tomorrow after defeating Koolwota Babas 10-0 in the eliminations.

Wardens Gold will meet Police White in the third quarter final.

In the other quarter finals, Super 7s Series champion Police Blue will face Somosomo Sharks, BLK Lavidi Brothers will meet Tagova Babas, and Sydney Tilivabukuya will play Veilomani Brothers.

Looking at the elimination results, Police Blue thrashed Royal Brothers 31-0, Lavidi Brothers thumped Combine Service Taveuni 21-0, Sydney Tilivabukuya edged Wairiki Rugby 7-5, Veilomani beat Navy 17-5, Police White beat Ucunivatu Rugby 19-7, Tagova Babas thrashed Spearhead Yalovata 33-0 and Somosomo Sharks defeated New Dawn Rugby 14-7.

The men’s quarter finals, semi finals and final will be held tomorrow.
