Wairiki 7s: 8 teams confirmed for quarter finals

Super 7s Series champions Police Blue will meet Naselesele Rams in the quarter-finals of the Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s after thrashing Kingdom Warriors 26-0 in the elimination rounds.

They are also one of the unbeaten teams after winning all their pool games.

In other results of the elimination round, Police White defeated Lavena Reds 12-7, Naselesele Rams edged St Joseph Delaivadra 5-0, Uluinakau defeated Malolo 12-0, Lavidi Brothers defeated Veivatuloa Brothers 12-0, Westfield Babas beat TK Brothers 12-5, Raiwasa Taveuni edged Nahehevia 7-5 and Wardens thumped Somosomo Sharks 17-0.

In other men's quarter-finals, Wardens will face Police White, Raiwasa Taveuni will meet Uluinakau, and Westfield Babas will play Lavidi Brothers.

The men's quarter-finals will start at 8.48 this morning, the semi-finals will begin at 1pm today, and the final will be held at 3.30 this afternoon.

Meanwhile, in the Under 21 semi-finals, Dominion Brother Blues will face Southern Babas at 12.12pm today, and Saqani Brothers will meet Waitabu at 12.24pm.
