WAF yet to confirm when supply will normalise for those in elevated areas of Suva

As water supply has been restored for many people living in the greater Suva area, the Water Authority of Fiji has yet to confirm when supply will normalise for other elevated areas.

WAF says they are still working on restoring water supply to areas such as Samabula North, elevated areas of Delainavesi past Ballantine Memorial School, Upper Lami Village, elevated areas of Lami Town such as Nakula, Naimawi, Waivote, Waimate, Qauia Street, Navikinikini, Vatuvia, upper Kalekana and the wider Veisari area from Wailekutu to Togalevu Naval Base.

As of last night, water supply has been restored to Mead Road, Bay View Heights, Yohan Place, Vuibau, Grisworld, Sukanaivalu Road, Nabua Town, Nabua Road, Wailoku Road, Novotel Lami, Ki Street, Lami School, Nakula Methodist Church, Lower Valenicina, Kaunitoni, Kauvula Place, Kaudamu Place Ballantine Memorial School, Amputch, Petrie Road, Opp Deovji, Deovji Tamavua, Tamavua Koro, Princes Street (from Deovji to Loa Street), Upper Ragg Avenue Rewa Street (lower), Kikau Street, Talasiga Street, Sese Street, Dhanji Road, Howell Road (lower), Rose Place, Alexander Street, Milverton, Joe Singh Road, Matanitobua, Borron, Lekutu Street, Armstrong Road, Wilkinson Road, Hunter Street, Laucala Bay Road (and Feeder Roads), Bau Road (and Feeder Road), Lekutu Street, Shalimar Street, Rt Sukuna Road, Belo Road, Waimanu Road, Kanavi Street, Ruve Street, Dilio Street, Nabua Muslim League, Namena Road, Bidesi Place, Kaka Street, Kula Street, Gaji Road, Beddoes Road, Karan Singh Road, Koroi Place, Upper Falvey Road, Udit Narayan Road, Jay Ben Place, Lawedua Road, Aidney Street, Lagilagi Housing, Jittu Estate, Waimanu Road, Extension Street, CWM Hospital, Sawani Street, Toganivalu Street, Mal Street and Moti Street.

WAF says water carting teams are focused on the remaining areas to ensure everyone gets back to normal as soon as possible.
