After 85 years of the Deans competition, dreams have come true for 2 boys and girls' team of Vunisea Secondary School and the Koro High School boys U16 team as they have qualified to the National Secondary School 7's competition that will be held on the 25th of this month.

The 3 teams from Vunisea won trophies, $500 each and 2 rugby balls each, but the Vanua relationship between the people of Kadavu and Koro have given the chance for the Koro U16 team to proceed to the Fiji Secondary Schools National 7s tournament.

In the 2nd round of competition, the Koro High U16 defeated Vunisea 5-0 and Vunisea thrashed Koro 10-0 in their last game this afternoon.

In the boys U18 grade, Grammar thrashed Vunisea 17-0 and later won their last match against Vunisea 14-12.
