Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem

You will now be able to know your polling venue by texting your voter ID card number to 1500 from any network for free.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says the platform will go live from 6pm this evening until 6pm on the day of the election.

He says aside from printing and allowing voters to physically verify the voter list, the Fijian Elections Office has also created this platform which will allow citizens to verify where they will be voting and also confirm their location for voting is correct in case they have not yet upgraded to the latest voter card.

Saneem says they are releasing the platform early so that citizens are able to check their polling venues now and if they are still listed at a location they are no longer able to access, then they can access voter registration services from the FEO as they are rolling out a snap registration drive this weekend beginning on Friday at urban centres as this is where majority of the voters still have green voter cards.
