People will now be able to register for the general elections once again as Voter Services Centres across the country have now re-opened following a brief temporary closure.

The Fiji Elections Office say these centres will be fully operational from 8.30am next Monday, providing crucial voter services in preparation for the upcoming general elections.

Supervisor of Elections, Ana Mataiciwa says they acknowledge the inconvenience caused during the brief closure and thanked the public for their understanding.

Mataiciwa says the upgrades were essential to allow them to enhance their systems.

Meanwhile, the Voter Services Centres location are located at FEO Voter Services Centre (old Fiji Visitors Building) for the central division, FEO Voter Services Center 36, Vitogo Parade,Lautoka for the western division and FEO Voter Services Centre, Legal Aid Building, Jaduram Street for the northern.
